                The Epidemic around Me

When people are still immersed in the happy atmosphere of the New Year, the outbreak of an epidemic in Hohhot completely overturned our happy New Year. The 15th day of the first lunar month was supposed to be the Lantern Festival, but as a result of the outbreak of the epidemic, all activities were suspended, and the festive atmosphere came to an abrupt end. All people were on alert. I live in a small qi county close to Hohhot. Due to the outbreak of the epidemic in Hohhot, our town was also closed, and I could do nothing at home every day. Later, when I learned that the community was recruiting volunteers, I immediately signed up, hoping to contribute to the fight against the epidemic. After many days of volunteer activities, let me understand the hardships of those medical staff, those unknown "rebels", are ordinary heroes.I work as a volunteer in the community. Although I do not do much work every day, it is also very hard. At the beginning, I counted all the residents who had been to Hohhot and Baotou and monitored them carefully. I also needed to cooperate with the community medical staff to provide nucleic acid treatment for them. Some residents did not cooperate at the beginning, because they thought the epidemic was far away from them and they would not be infected with the virus so easily. Later, after our multi-party persuasion, they began to realize the terrible nature of the virus, began to cooperate with the nucleic acid, follow the arrangement of community service personnel. In the days that followed, I had to sort out the information of all the residents in the community. Because I had to do the nucleic acid test for all the residents, I had to call one by one, register one by one, and do the basic work well, in order to reach the most correct number of people on the nucleic acid test day. The information was soon gathered. As volunteers, we have to take the nucleic acid test one day in advance, so that we can do volunteer work in the nucleic acid of the whole staff the next day. On the day of nucleic acid, I acted as a guide and guided them to queue up for a distance of one meter line and wait for nucleic acid. All nucleic acid took half a day to complete sampling, to the evening results will come out, all negative. When the nucleic acid results came back, the hearts of the whole town hung.At present, the epidemic has been brought under control in Hohhot and Baotou. I believe that we college students will soon be able to go back to school and live on campus. Spring will come and the spring of the epidemic will pass.02

                Fight Against Pneumonia

At the end of the Chinese New Year, novel Coronavirus has once again arrived like a demon in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, especially in Hohhot.What started as a few cases grew into hundreds. An entire city was brought to a standstill and the normal lives of millions of people were interrupted.My family lives in Bayannur City, which is not the hardest hit area, but there are still three confirmed cases. This is the first time I have had a definitive sense of the presence of Novel Coronavirus, just a few kilometres away from me.But through this unforgettable experience, I saw a side of the city that I had never seen before.In the past, I and the people in this city are strangers, there is no other feelings between each other. However, when our common enemy, the Novel Coronavirus, arrives in this city, it is imperative that all of us join in. The call for volunteers went out immediately and 1,000 people were on standby within half a day.It really shows the speed of China.Then we implemented rapid containment measures, such as lockdown and community access control. The whole city, young and old, took five rounds of nucleic acid tests.Like hundreds of university students who actively participated, I was fortunate enough to join this big family of blood and responsible for the work of transfer contacts. At the moment of the epidemic, everyone's attitude of not retreating makes me feel more determined. People who had been in various roles in their lives gathered together, and now they were all soldiers.In this volunteer activity, what impressed me most was a pregnant woman. Even though she was pregnant, as an honorable Party member, she was duty-bound to participate in the volunteer service, providing important help for the city's epidemic prevention and control activities.There are no heroes who fall from the sky, but there are ordinary people who stand up. We are convinced that no winter is insurmountable, no spring will come. In the near future.The warm breeze blows away the haze and the warm sunshine illuminates every corner. People go where they want to go and see who they want to see.
